Visiting NYC for the first time I had many feelings. Walking out of my Pod hotel, every sense was assaulted by smells, noises, and blatant human suffering – but still, there’s just something about New York City.

Tokyo is a half-and-half city. Its land mass is huge; its ramen shops are counter space only. Big roads, no cars. Interactions are very polite and at the same time withdrawn.
